This article features the places in and around Glastonbury where you can enjoy fishing during your stay.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Glaston Manor Angling Association Locations<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Burtle Road Lakes<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Three lakes of various depths between 5ft and 9ft in a tranquil environment surrounded by wonderful wildlife.<\/p>\n<p>Location: Burtle Road between Westhay and Burtle<\/p>\n<p>Video: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=8bfHVaPuROY\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Burtle Lakes, Burtle, Westhay, Somerset &#8211; Anglers Mail<\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Moorland Pond<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Small water, ideal for a bit of float fishing for those timid crucians.<\/p>\n<p>Location: Ashcott Road, Meare, GLASTONBURY<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>North Drain<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Very shallow waterway.<\/p>\n<p>Location: 1 1\/2 fields above the Wedmore to Westhay Road, upstream to source.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>River Brue<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Location: Both banks from Lydford on Fosse Bridge down stream to the old White House site, approximately 1 1\/2 miles below Westhay bridge. Also the north bank above Lydford on Fosse Bridge from the fifth to the ninth field.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>River Sheppey<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Location: The water starts below Fenny Castle at Hurn Farm and continues until it meets the River Brue upstream of Westhay Bridge. The river is narrow and shallow with deeper glides that make excellent winter fishing.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>River Whitelake<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This is a shallow waterway that is really only fishable when the weed has disappeared.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>South Drain<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Wider drain with varying depths from 3ft in upper reaches I.e. Bait shop and toilet available.
