Small water, ideal for a bit of float fishing for those timid crucians.<\/p>\n
Location: Ashcott Road, Meare, GLASTONBURY<\/p>\n

Very shallow waterway.<\/p>\n
Location: 1 1\/2 fields above the Wedmore to Westhay Road, upstream to source.<\/p>\n

- River Brue<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Location: Both banks from Lydford on Fosse Bridge down stream to the old White House site, approximately 1 1\/2 miles below Westhay bridge. Also the north bank above Lydford on Fosse Bridge from the fifth to the ninth field.<\/p>\n

- River Sheppey<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Location: The water starts below Fenny Castle at Hurn Farm and continues until it meets the River Brue upstream of Westhay Bridge. The river is narrow and shallow with deeper glides that make excellent winter fishing.<\/p>\n

- River Whitelake<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
This is a shallow waterway that is really only fishable when the weed has disappeared.<\/p>\n

- South Drain<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Wider drain with varying depths from 3ft in upper reaches I.e. Glastonbury end to 6ft in lower reaches.<\/p>\n

Avalon Fisheries<\/strong><\/p>\n
Three lakes in the tranquil heart of the Somerset Levels surrounded by an abundance of wildlife that are part of the nearby nature reserves.<\/p>\n

Landsend Fishery<\/strong><\/p>\n
Four lakes set in beautiful surroundings all pathways stoned, barked and swims stoned or platforms with bins nearby. Bait shop and toilet available. This water is suitable for disabled anglers.<\/p>\n

Walton Lake<\/strong><\/p>\n
5.5 acres in size, Walton Lake has two large islands connected by a bridge. Anglers can fish socially from the islands but to totally different parts of the lake allowing each angler to have his own water.<\/p>\n

Old Oaks<\/strong><\/p>\n
Finally last, but not least, is the Old Oaks 5 star touring, camping and glamping for adults.<\/p>\n
Nestled beneath Old Oaks, with a view of Glastonbury Tor, Old Oaks has a half-acre coarse fishing lake situated less than 300 metres from many of the pitches with good access and parking within 20 metres for the less able. Exclusively for Old Oaks guests the fishing is free from November to March with a small fee chargeable at other times.<\/p>\n
